People who enjoy meetings should not be in charge of anything

Crazy Meeting Day!!!

Meeting One- With Tim, the professional Set Bulider - from 9-1. Very Helpful with invaluable information. We went through each set assessing how to support, construct an shot them, along with calculating the raw material needed. It has been established that all sets will be made from plywood, with two by four supports/frames, using bolts to facilitate removable walls. Andy managed to negotiate that all the plywood will be cut out by the craft centre- including windows and doors, which is LEGENDARY and saves us a lot of hassle. Thanks Andy! However we discovered that its not ok to use regular paints for the set dressing, and have to buy specialist stuff from Bristol Paints which we mix ourselves. Before painting we also have to apply a layer of PVA glue and grey primer. Tim suggested permanently PVA glueing calico down to the stage for flooring, and repainting it per set change. After expressing my concerns about having a permanent floor i suggested idea of using and acetate sheet then applying the wood effect Lino on top. Tim agreed and added that i could use spray mount to tack it down to the stage but able to be pealed off.
